Queensland Health is offering a Population Health Scholarship Programme for the first time in 2008.
This exciting opportunity is available to four students wishing to undertake undergraduate (excluding first year enrolments) or post-graduate Population Health programmes. Each scholarship will be provided for a period of up to two years.
Launch of National Awareness Week - 1 October
The 2007 campaign will focus on the question 'What do you know about hepatitis C?' The theme of 'learning the facts' about hep C encourages discussion to the wider community. With sub-themes surrounding prevention; treatment and discrimination. This October 1st to 7th 2007, we encourage all Australians to learn the facts about the virus that affects Australians from all walks of life.
Description: Launch of National Awareness Week Karen Struthers, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Health, to officiate at the launch; GP shared care resource kit launched; several community stalls and activities available.
When: Mon 1 Oct, 11am - 2.30pm (photo opportunities interviews with positive speakers at 12.30pm)
