People who are, or who have been, hep C or HIV positive are eligible to join the Positive Speakers Bureau. There is a fee charged for speaking engagements, part goes to the Speaker and part to the Bureau. Speakers could be earning up to $100 per engagement.  All speakers are required to provide medical evidence of condition, undergo Speaker training and be registered with the Bureau.
The first training day is Sat 10 Nov at QAHC; 30 Helen St, New Farm.

QAHC is after anybody who is available to volunteer to do a short session selling World AIDS Day red ribbons at either the Roma Street, Central or Brunswick Street train stations on Monday 26th November from about 7am up to 8.30am (this time is flexible depending on your availability).
