Hepatitis Queensland’s team hit the road this month to deliver Hep Check, Connect and Cure clinics to the communities of Dalby, Oakey, Toowoomba and Warwick.

Run in partnership with Darling Downs Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Service, Carbal Medical Services and Goondir Health Services, the mobile clinics provided fingerstick hepatitis C testing, liver scans, art workshops, giveaways and more.

The initiative helped to increase access to testing and raise awareness about hepatitis C within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

We’d like to extend our thanks to the welcoming staff at each health service for their support and collaboration in making this outreach effort a success.
